Numerous cities and municipalities research their past in order to discover the people who have marked their history and given a street, a place, a park or a public building their name. Île-des-Soeurs, while enriching its repertory with the names of artists and birds, has also paid tribute to the people who have made a mark on the area.
This new column will briefly summarize the biographies of those people whose names we can see on the Island. We will begin with Marie Le Ber.
