WINNER OF A ULYSSE TROPHY
Grands Prix du tourisme québécois 2010 – Montreal Region
Maison Saint-Gabriel is proud to announce that it is the fortunate recipient of the 2010 Tourisme Montréal Ulysse trophy in the Tourist attractions with fewer than 100,000 visitors category.
The names of the winners were disclosed during the Grands Prix du tourisme québécois 2010 gala, which took place on Wednesday March 24, 2010 at the Parisian Laundry art gallery. Maison Saint-Gabriel now represents the region of Montreal for the national awards to be presented at Montreal’s Palais des Congrès on May 7, 2010.
Since 1999, Maison Saint-Gabriel has distinguished itself in all of its accomplishments and has already received four Ulysse trophies, the emblem of tourism excellence for the greater Montreal region.
2010 promises to be splendid year for Maison Saint-Gabriel. An expansion programme is currently underway. It will enable the museum to play its role fully as a focal point of memory and history, while meeting the expectations of its visitors more adequately. This expansion will also extend the area of the gardens and consolidate the educational and recreational role they play in the programming of Maison Saint-Gabriel.
