Éric Michaud, who goes by the pen name of Ubert Sanspré dit Beloeil, is a master of ceremony, story-teller and designer of special events. Over the past decade, he has taken part in developing educational programmes with schools and has worked as an education and theatrical facilitator for the primary and secondary levels.
Specializing, among other things, in the period of New France, he worked from 1989 to 1995 at the Stewart Museum at the Fort on Île Sainte-Hélène and since 1995, he has been associated with the special events and programming at Maison Saint-Gabriel. Éric Michaud is the director of Educational Action at OYEZ! OYEZ! PRODUCTIONS. An active member of the Association québécoise d’interprétation du patrimoine - AQIP, he won the 2000 award of excellence for the activity “Trails by Night” at the Stewart Museum.
