A man of many talents, Francis Désilets has a long track sheet. His career started in 1997 when he worked as a research assistant for the television series Le Canada, une Histoire populaire. In June 1999, he was hired as a historian for Village Québécois d’Antan, in Drummondville.
Since 2001, Francis Désilets has worked for the Cabaret du Roy as a musician, singer and master of ceremonies. He is also a performer, story-teller and musician for Oyez Oyez Productions. Over the past decade, Francis Désilets has taken part in various festivals, including the Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France in Québec City, the Festival interculturel du conte, in Montréal, and the Festival du conte de la Pierre angulaire, in Saint-Élie-de-Caxton.
Since 2006, he has worked as a story-teller and performer at Maison Saint-Gabriel.
