Marjorie Deschamps

Marjorie DeschampsDeeply interested in the history of New France, it was while she directed the Stewart Museum (2005 to 2009), that she fell in love with traditional Irish and Québec music. This discovery led her to Fribourg, in Switzerland, as a fiddler for Les Sortilèges, a traditional dance and music company for which she continues to play. She also joined the SIAMSA CEILI BAND in 2012 and performs at traditional dance events on a regular basis.
