An extraordinary evening of story-telling
Tuesday, October 24, 2017

Lucie BissonThe Beggars, walking newspapers and peddlers of the imaginary, are part of Québec's history. Maison Saint-Gabriel, heritage museum, honours them with its activity: Beggars' Week, from October 24 to October 29. For this event, a GREAT BEGGARS' GATHERING has been planned for Tuesday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Maison Saint-Gabriel’s Catherine-Crolo Pavilion. This event focuses on the word and stars five story-tellers from here and elsewhere, accompanied by a fiddler, for a few hours of story-telling and anecdotes. This evening will be hosted by story-teller and host Francis Désilets.

We will hear Lucie Bisson, Marc-André Fortin and François Lavallée, as well, of course, as story-tellers and emcees Francis Désilets and Alexis Roy. One by one, they will bring the beggars' stories back to life. This annual event is presented by Maison Saint-Gabriel, in cooperation with the Arrondissement du Sud-Ouest, Montréal.

Your eyes and ears will be dazzled by the beggars' stories. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

This evening will take place on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Maison Saint-Gabriel's Catherine-Crolo Pavilion, 2146 Place Dublin, Montréal, Charlevoix metro station (Bus 57 East).
