Until the beginning of the 20th century, no one worked on St. Catherine's Day, namely November 25. Everyone celebrated with feasts, dancing and good stories... and the festivities started the evening before. On Saturday, November 25 at 7:30 p.m., Maison Saint-Gabriel brings the St. Catherine's day celebrations back into style, and invites you to attend an evening in the style of the "good old days". On the menu: History, good stories, traditional music to the sound of the fiddle and a sing-along.

Come and tap your feet, sing and allow yourself to be lulled by the stories of Marc-André Fortin, Éric Michaud and Francis Désilets and the music of Marie-Neige Lavigne. And, of course, the famous, renowned St. Catherine’s toffee will be served to participants and satisfy all taste buds. A surprise awaits you during the evening.

This event will take place on Saturday, November 25 at 7:30 p.m.  at the Catherine-Crolo pavilion, at Maison Saint-Gabriel,  2146, Place Dublin, Montréal. Charlevoix metro station, (Bus 57 East).

Admission: $20.00 (taxes included)
