PROGRAMME
ACTIVITIES – WINTER 2017
Commemoration of the 375th anniversary of the founding of Montréal
As part of the festivities to commemorate the 375th anniversary of the founding of Montréal, Maison Saint-Gabriel, museum and historic site, is highlighting the exceptional contribution made by the individuals who played a role in its history. With Marguerite Bourgeoys and the King’s Wards, the museum contributed to the building of the city. In 2017, we will be making the most of the opportunity to offer visitors an authentic and entertaining programme that evokes the deep roots of Ville-Marie.
Sunday January 8, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 2:30 p.m.

MARDI GRAS EVENING
Maison Saint-Gabriel invites you to get back into the tradition of Mardi Gras, once the festival celebrated before the austere Lenten period. When you take part in this “devilish” evening, you will have an opportunity to re-experience stories in the pure Québec tradition, with story-tellers Francis Désilets, Alexis Roy, François Lavallée and Lucie Bisson.
